Increasing production capacity and export potential of ASL Machgroup

At the beginning of February 2016, ASL Machgroup Ltd. signed a contract № BG16RFOP002-2.001-0882-C01 for financial aid under the Procedure BG16RFOP002-2.001 „Improving the production capacity in SMEs“, part of Operational Program „Innovations and Competitiveness” 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, concerning the realization of the project „Increasing production capacity and export potential of ASL Machgroup” Ltd. The contract must be realized within 8 months. Maximum sum of the total eligible costs for the project amounts to 1 004 405.08 leva. The maximum provided financial aid represents 45 % of total eligible costs or 451 982,29 leva.

The strategy of ASL Machgroup Ltd. for company development is based on technological modernization executed by stages. The first two stages have been realized during the period of year 2008 until the year of 2014. The third stage (year of 2015 until year of 2018) foresees purchasing and putting into operation of new contemporary high tech machines and optimization of the resources and  the used raw materials and materials by new technologies and contemporary equipment. The realization of this third stage will be achieved to a significant degree by the execution of the project activity as follows: purchasе of CNC horizontal boring and milling machine.

The realization of the project will lead generally to increasing production capacity and export potential of ASL Machgroup Ltd. The expected results of the realization of the project:

– the production capacity and the productivity of the labour will increase;

– new products will be implemented in the production and the export will increase;

– the quality of the production will improve;

– the efficacy will improve and the production process will be optimized;

– the resource effectiveness will improve as the expenses for materials and raw materials will decrease by reducing of waste generation.
